PRICE REDUCED --- Here is a rare Take-down version of an 1886 Winchester rifle. A serial number of 91479 places production of this Sporting Rifle in 1894 so the gun can be shipped directly to a Buyer. This rifle is in very good condition with some original case color left in areas on the fingerlever and receiver. Slow Rust bluing still covers over 60-80 percent on the barrel and magazine, with other areas having turned to a soft patina. The take-down functions perfectly on this rifle and shows wear marks on the magazine where arm turned while taking-down the gun. Bore is in excellent condition still with over 80% strong rifling. All internal parts in good working condition and function properly on this rifle. Sights are original Winchester factory issue with a Sporting post front sight with central brass metal blade, while rear is a No. 22C Flat-top with a 3C elevator. Wood is all solid with a few minor handling marks and looks to have original finish. A very Collectible and rare 1886 Winchester take-down rifle in 38-56 caliber.
